A safe, quick, and effective cosmetic procedure for a range of skin blemishes and conditions.
Milia can take months or even years to disappear by themselves, but at The Grove Cosmetic & Skin Clinic we are able to safely and effectively remove milia altogether, leaving you with smooth, clear skin.

What to expect at your Milia removal consultation
Your milia removal consultation will be with a registered nurse who will assess your milia and determine the most appropriate form of treatment. During your consultation they will be able to answer any questions you may have about your milia removal and give you personalised advice. If they decide your milia can be removed, they will be able to carry out the procedure in clinic.

Milia are hard whiteheads formed by trapped sebum and dead skin cells under the surface of the skin. They are usually found around the eyes and on the cheeks. This Advanced Cosmetic procedure is used to introduce a small amount of heat via a tiny probe causing them to shrink and disappear.

This safe and effective technique enables minor skin blemishes to be easily and quickly treated often with immediate results

Skin Tags
Skin Tags are small benign fibrous growths hanging from the skins surface. Although skin tags are common they are completely harmless, and they do not usually cause any pain or discomfort. However, they can get caught on clothing or jewellery and bleed as a result, and can also lower your self esteem.

Thread Veins
Thread Veins are blood capillaries that have become permanently dilated or occasionally broken near the surface of the skin. Normally, these tiny veins and blood vessels in the skin are invisible. However once permanently dilated, the blood is trapped and shows through as a red thread vein.

Blood/Cherry Spots
Angiomas or cherry moles are benign bright red dome shaped structures. They lie just under the surface of the skin and are most common on the trunk or torso. Most people aged over 30 have at least one and they are even more common in men than women.

Seborrhoeic Keratosis
Seborrhoeic keratosis is a benign, asymptomatic mass, primarily caused by the ageing process. It is also known as seborrhoeic warts, senile warts, barnacles or basal cell papilloma. They have a thick wart-like surface and are usually colourless when they appear and become brown to black over time.

Spider Naevus
A central blood vessel becomes dilated and the smaller capillaries branching out from it radiate in different directions.
It appears close to your skin surface and looks like a spider with its legs spread out. It can be isolated or appear in clusters at different areas of the skin surface.

Sebaceous Cyst
Sebaceous cysts are filled with a clear, oily liquid made by the sebaceous glands and are usually found on the face, neck and trunk of the body.
